Transneft Urals is taking part in the XXVIII International GAS. OIL. TECHNOLOGIES – 2020 exhibition in Ufa. The exhibition is held as part of the Russian Petrochemical Forum.
After the exhibition opening ceremony, Transneft Urals’ stand was visited by Radiy Khabirov, Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Danir Akhmerov, Chief Engineer of the company, told the head of the region about presented exhibits, mockup models of high-tech equipment produced by Transneft subsidiaries, commented briefly on company's business area in the region.
The demonstrated samples include a mockup model of a pit-type pressure chamber that has no analogues. The chamber is designed to repair underwater crossings of pipelines with a diameter of 300 to 1200 mm, running at a depth of 25 m.
The combined magnetic ultrasonic inspection tool allows performing both magnetic and ultrasonic pipeline inspections within one run, combining the advantages of both methods. The in-line inspection gadget is capable of detecting longitudinal cracks, defects in longitudinal and girth welds, lamination and metal losses.
The synchronous ex-proof electric motor of the mainline pump unit with a capacity of 8 thousand kilowatts and the NPV 5000-120 oil vertical booster pump were developed by Transneft subsidiaries — by Russian Electric Motors and Transneft Oil Pumps, respectively, — as part of the import substitution programme. The electric motor is intended for use as a part of the pump unit for commercial oil and clean petroleum products transportation via trunk pipelines in explosion hazardous zones; it is characterized by high reliability indicators and an extended service life of at least 50 years. The pump can be used to provide the necessary boost in front of the mainline pumps, to ensure oil and petroleum products loading at loading facilities, as well as for transportation within the tank farm.
Information materials displayed on video panels and interactive screens enable visitors to get a complete picture of Transneft's activities to ensure uninterrupted and emergency-free transportation of oil and petroleum products and to develop the production infrastructure.
