Transneft Urals has received a commendation from Mr. Khabirov, Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, for production achievements and great contribution to the social and economic development of the region.
The commendation was presented to Roman Kovalev, Director General of Transneft Urals, during a government meeting dedicated to the Republic's fuel and energy sector development.
Four of six company’s branches are located in Bashkortostan: the Tuimazy, the Cherkassy, the Arlan Oil Pipeline Directorates, as well as the Specialised Directorate for Emergency Prevention and Response. More than 4 thousand km of trunk pipelines pass through the region – almost half of all those in company’s area of responsibility. In particular, the supply of oil to the Ufa and Salavat refineries is ensured, petroleum products are received from the refinery for further transportation to consumers within the country and for export.
Transneft Urals is a responsible employer and a major taxpayer. In 2019, tax payments to the republican budget amounted to RUB 2.835 billion, in 2020, this indicator is expected to reach RUB 2.953 billion. The team numbers over 7 thousand people; about 4.2 thousand of them work in the republic. The volume of company’s capital investments in the republic over past three years amounted to almost RUB 27 billion: the company is actively modernising infrastructure and operating facilities, introducing advanced technologies, and renewing the park of mechanical process equipment. Transneft Urals closely cooperates with leading educational institutions of Bashkortostan in the field of personnel training.
With company’s assistance, a large number of socially significant objects of the republic were built and renovated. Transneft Urals implements charitable projects actively, its employees participate in volunteer activities.
