Transneft Ural Analyses Over 17,000 Samples as Part of Environmental and Analytical Monitoring in 1H 2020

In the first half of 2020, Transneft Urals analysed 17,300 samples as part of environmental and analytical monitoring in 1H 2020.

For the six months, specialists of Transneft Urals and third-party laboratories analysed more than 16,000 samples of surface and waste water, drinking water and industrial water from wells, 541 samples of soil and 713 samples of air pollutant emissions.

Monitoring is carried out on a regular basis in order to control compliance with environmental standards at the company’s onsite operating facilities and the line of the trunk pipelines serviced.

Laboratory analyses showed that the content of the controlled substances did not exceed the maximum permissible concentration values at the boundaries of sanitary protection zones, in waste and natural waters.
