Transneft Urals has replaced stop valves at the Ufa – Petropavlovsk petroleum product trunk pipeline (PPTP), the Suslovo line operation dispatcher station (LODS) and the Yurgamysh LODS custody transfer point.

On the line of the Ufa – Petropavlovsk PPTP, two sliding gate valves were installed instead of two wedge gate valves (the pipeline diameter is 377 mm). At the same time, electric drives were replaced (TOMZEL electric drives were installed), and telemechanical control systems were connected.

In addition, a wedge valve (the diameter is 300 mm) at a process pipeline of the Ufa – Petropavlovsk PPTP at the Suslovo LODS and a sliding gate valve (the diameter is 500 mm) at the Yurgamysh LODS CTP were replaced.

All installed equipment was manufactured in Russia and fully complies with Transneft’s requirements.

The work was carried out as part of the technical upgrading and revamping programme of Transneft Urals to ensure uninterrupted and safe operation of the company’s operating facilities.
