Date of publication: 27 December 2018 Print

Transneft Urals has completed scheduled repairs at the Tuimazy – Omsk – Novosibirsk stage 1 and stage 2 oil trunk pipelines (TON-1 and TON-2 OTPs) and the Kaltasy – Yazykovo – Salavat oil trunk pipeline, as well as at the Salavat – Ufa and the Ufa – Kambarka petroleum products trunk pipelines (PPTP), as part of the Company’s development programme.

A 5,000 m3 vertical floating roof steel tank (VFRT-5000) was connected to process pipelines of Salavat line operation dispatcher station (LODS) servicing the TON-1, TON-2 and the Kaltasy – Yazykovo – Salavat (the Cherkassy – Salavat section) oil trunk pipelines.

A temporary pipeline clean-up and inspection gadget (PIG) trap was disconnected at the Salavat – Ufa PPTP (the Salavat – Cherkassy section), as the initial in-line inspection of the Salavat – Ufa PPTP had finished. 18 constrictions previously detected during initial profile logging of the Ufa – Kambarka PPTP (the Andreyevka – Cherkassy section) were cut out.

The works were carried out without interrupting delivery of oil from oil extracting enterprises and delivery petroleum products from refineries and were completed on schedule. Full-scale transportation of petroleum products was resumed.
