Transneft Urals Finishes Scheduled Repairs at Petroleum Products Trunk Pipelines

Transneft Urals has conducted scheduled repairs at the Ufa – West, Ufa – Kambarka, Salavat – Ufa and Ufa – Omsk petroleum products trunk pipelines (PPTP).

At the Subkhankulovo – Priboy section of the Ufa – West PPTP, four defects were eliminated at the line part and one defect was eliminated at the process pipelines of Subkhankulovo – PP line operation dispatcher station (LODS); the station also saw replacement of one gate valve.

A temporary PIG trap was assembled at the Ufa – Omsk PPTP, which will be used during the initial diagnosis of PPTP at the Cherkassy – Chelyabinsk section. Midlife repairs of two gate valves were performed at the Salavat – Ufa PPTP.

As part of the initial in-line inspection at the Andreyevka – Cherkassy section at the Ufa – Kambarka PPTP, 16 narrowings found during the previously conducted BGT were cut out.

Acceptance of petroleum products from refineries was not suspended. The works were completed within the regulatory time limit in accordance with the development programme of Transneft Urals for 2018. Petroleum products transportation was restored in full.
