Transneft Urals environmental safety engineer wins prize at republican contest

Lyaisan Tuktamysheva, an engineer at the environmental safety and rational nature management department at Cherkassy Oil Pipeline Directorate of Transneft Urals was awarded third prize in the 10th Republican Best Environmental Safety Expert 2018 contest.

The contest was organized by the Ministry of Nature Management  and Ecology in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Bashkortostan Directorate of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage and Intersectoral Institute, a private educational institution. The Republican Ministry for Industry and Innovative Policy also supported the contest.

The event’s programme included both theoretical and practical assignments. Participating in the contest were 34 environment safety specialists from all parts of the Republic. Lyaisan Tuktamysheva, an engineer at the environmental safety and rational nature management department at Cherkassy Oil Pipeline Directorate representing Transneft Urals took third prize.

Furthermore, this year the best environmental safety specialists were named by sectors for the first time with Ms Tuktamysheva winning in the Best Results Among the Companies Engaged In Crude Oil and Petroleum Products Pipeline Transportation category.
