Transneft Urals rendered financial assistance in revamping of the Cultural Centre of settlement Semiletka of Dyurtyulinsky District of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The amount of the allocated money was equal to about 97 million rubles, financial assistance was rendered as part of the agreement between Transneft and the republic.
The renewed social and cultural facility was opened on 01 December 2017. Rinat Khairullin, Head of Administration of Dyurtyulinsky District, Timur Bezymiannikov, Director General of Transneft Urals, Askar Nugumanov, Director of the Fund for Social Special-Purpose Programmes, participated in the official ceremony.
As the result of the large-scale revamping of the Cultural Centre, performed in 2015-2017, a tent roof was constructed, the front of the building was coated with ceramic granite, the territory was asphalted, paving flagstone was laid in front of the club-house, a fence was constructed, a traffic light was installed. Repair and rearrangement of the premises were performed: new windows and doors were installed, floors were replaced, walls were coated and painted. Shower rooms and changing rooms were constructed in the gym. Besides, the auditorium for 158 seats was reconstructed, the furniture and the scenic clothes were partially renewed.
As well, water supply and sewerage systems were repaired, combined extract-and-input system of ventilation was assembled, alarm and video monitoring systems were installed due to the allocated money. The automated fire-fighting and building pouring system was installed, fire tanks with the capacity of 300 cubic metres were constructed. Besides, a diesel generator was installed for the event of electricity shutdown, electric wiring was replaced. Now construction and connection of the own gas boiler house are being finished; internal heating system has already been replaced.
Special changing rooms and toilet facilities are provided for disabled people, ramps are installed - so, the renewed Cultural Centre became more available for such people.
The two-storeyed building of the Cultural Centre was constructed in 1957; the last overhaul was performed in 1980-s.
Eight amateur-talent groups work at the Cultural Centre of settlement Semiletka, including four choreographic groups, a dramatic group, a vocal group and a folkloric vocal group, a folk instruments group. After revamping the Cultural Centre will also comprise an art school, a music school, a dancing school, a library.
The population of settlement Semiletka is equal to 3,800 persons. The Cultural Centre is a leisure centre also for residents of the nearby settlements and villages (Nizhnemancharovo, Karalachuk, Nizhneatashevo, Tashtau), as well as for neighbouring Ilishevsky and Chekmagushevsky Districts.
It was the sixth social and cultural centre reconstructed or constructed in the region as part of the agreement between Transneft and the Republic of Bashkortostan within the last three years.
Transneft Urals renders targeted assistance to educational, medical and sports institutions, cultural organizations, children's homes, different public and religious organizations, district administrations in the enterprise’s presence regions.
