Transneft Urals conducted the scheduled works at oil trunk pipelines

Transneft Urals conducted the scheduled works at Nizhnevartovsk - Kurgan - Kuybyshev (NKK) and Ust-Balyk - Kurgan - Ufa - Almetievsk (UBKUA) oil trunk pipelines in Bashkortostan and Chelyabinsk Region.

A constructed section in the area of responsibility of Kropachevo line operation dispatcher station (LODS) was connected as part of the overhaul of the underwater crossing of NKK OTP (oil trunk pipeline) across the river Sim (Chelyabinsk Region). According to the results of diagnostics of the industrial pipelines, at NKK OTP four defects were eliminated at by-pass line of the pressure control unit at Etkul OPS, medium repair of five gate valves was performed at Travniki oil pump station (OPS), diagnostics of automation systems of Kanashi OPS and Yazykovo LODS was conducted.

Medium repair of a gate valve at Leninsk LODS was performed at UBKUA oil trunk pipeline. As well, a gate valve was replaced at the linear portion of the OTP in the area of responsibility of Ulu-Telyak LODS.

Besides, inspection of full opening/closing and leakage of the gate valves at Yurgamysh and Medvedskoe LODS, Mishkino, Kanashi, Etkul and Travniki OPS was conducted.

The works were conducted without stop of oil receiving from oil producing companies. Oil transportation was resumed in time and in full.
