Transneft Urals, JSC successfully passed an inspection in the sphere of energy saving

Transneft Urals successfully passed a special-purpose inspection of its activities under the Energy Saving and Efficiency Improvement Program of Transneft.

The inspectors were representatives of Transneft, Transneft R&D and Transneftenergo, who assessed the key directions of work in the sphere of energy saving. The inspection was performed in the Executive Office of the Company, and in business units of Subkhankulovo and Subkhankulovo-PP line operation dispatcher stations (LODS) of Tuimazy Oil Pipeline Directorate.

In particular, the inspectors assessed efficiency of optimization of the oil trunk pipelines operation modes, implementation of energy saving measures at operation of pumping equipment (including  efficiency of pumps), accuracy of recording of energy resources and their rational use. They also assessed operation of vehicles, special equipment and satellite navigation systems, recording of motor fuels and activities of electric power dispatchers. In particular, they remarked that despite the increase in the number of equipment and time of use, the unit fuel consumption considerably reduced ( 0,3 tons of reference fuel per 100 km).

Based on the results, the inspectors concluded that the company successfully passed the inspection.
