Transneft Urals in 2017 reduced electric energy consumption in the oil transportation system by 0.48%, in the petroleum products transportation system by 0.44%, which is more than the planned targets (0.46% and 0.42% correspondingly).
As part of the technical upgrading and revamping programme,Transneft Urals in 2017 commissioned 93 automation protective relay sets (APR) based on microprocessors. The new Russian-made equipment replaced the obsolete electromechanical relays.
