Transneft Urals has rendered financial assistance in designing and revamping a sports and health centre (SHC) in the Yugo-Zapadny (South-Western) microdistrict of the Mezhgorye closed administrative-territorial formation (CATF) in Beloretsky District of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The allocations amounted to some RUB 109 million, and the financial assistance was offered under an agreement between Transneft and the republic.
NDT inspectors from Transneft Urals are among winners and prize-winners of the 15th Nationwide Non-Destructing Testing Professionals Contest, whose final was held at the Kachestvo training and research centre in Moscow from 26 February till 1 March 2018.
Specialized Directorate for Emergency Prevention and Response at trunk pipelines (SDEPR), a Transneft Urals branch, won a prize at the “Best work conditions and occupational safety” republican contest whose final was held in Ufa. The directorate finished 3rd in the “Transport and communications” contest group.
Transneft Urals has hosted a trade union conference, during which the outcomes of implementing the Company’s collective bargaining agreement in 2015–2018 were summarized and a new agreement for 2018-2020 was adopted.
On 1 March 2018 Kurgan Oil Pipeline Directorate (OPD) received a message on leakage of drinking water from a well at Kurgan – Yurgamysh water pipeline from the chairman of the Teplichny gardeners’ partnership. The area of the water spill equaled some 1,800 square metres.
A special training group of Transneft Urals started working at Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (USPTU).
A comprehensive emergency response drill (CERD) to contain an oil spill at an oil trunk pipeline underwater crossing (OTPUWC) on an ice-covered water body, was conducted by Arlan Oil Pipeline Directorate of Transneft Urals. The underwater crossing of the Kaltasy – Ufa-2 TP over the Belaya, Bashkortostan’s largest river, was chosen as the drill site.
Transneft Urals held a traditional Winter Sports Festival, arranged by the United Trade Union Organization and backed by the Company’s management.
“The Oil and Gas Industry of Russia: Positive Dynamics in 2012-2017 and an Outlook for Growth” was the subject of an extended meeting of the Transneft Expert Board that took place in Ufa.
Transneft Urals has performed the scheduled works at Ufa – West (UW), Salavat – Ufa, Ufa – Omsk and Ufa – Petropavlovsk petroleum products trunk pipelines (PPTP).
