On 12 April 2018, the administration of Sosnovsky District of Chelyabinsk Region approached Transneft Urals seeking assistance in eliminating the consequences of oil contamination found at the Poletaevskoye rural settlement, near the Chipyshevo village.

Specialized Directorate for Emergency Prevention and Response at trunk pipelines (SDEPR), a Transneft Urals branch, won a prize at the “Best work conditions and occupational safety” republican contest whose final was held in Ufa. The directorate finished 3rd in the “Transport and communications” contest group.
